Who we are
AutoPulse Malaysia is operated by DA-Enterprise, an independent one-stop information and updates centre for the Malaysian automotive industry. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site or use its features, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus the basic technical data needed to run the site:
- Contact and advertising inquiries — your name, email address, phone number, company name, message and any picture, video or document you attach to an inquiry.
- Newsletter — your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
- Member accounts — the email address and name linked to your sign-in account, and anything you post while signed in (for example a job vacancy or an industry partner listing).
- Job vacancies — the company name, position, salary range, location, job description, source link and the contact email you provide for applicants, plus any attached document.
- Uploaded files — pictures, videos and documents you upload while using features of the site.
- Technical data — standard server records such as pages requested, needed to keep the site secure and working.
We do not collect payment details, identity card numbers or bank account information, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
How we use it
- To reply to your contact or advertising inquiry and send it to the site owner.
- To deliver the newsletter to subscribers who asked for it.
- To create and manage your member account, and to publish what you post (such as a vacancy) on the site.
- To keep uploaded files available to you and to the readers a feature is meant for.
- To keep the site safe — preventing spam, abuse and unauthorised access.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Where your information is kept
Inquiries, newsletter subscriptions, accounts, vacancies and uploaded files are stored in the site's secure cloud database and file storage. Uploaded files are kept in private storage and are only served where a feature says so — for example, pictures on an approved industry partner listing or a vacancy attachment shown with the vacancy. Inquiry attachments are visible only to the site owner.
Sign-in passwords are handled by the sign-in service and are never visible to the site owner. If you sign in with Google, Google shares only your name and email address with us.
Cookies and browser storage
The site uses a small amount of browser storage to keep you signed in between visits and to remember basic preferences. These are not used for advertising or shared with third parties.
Third-party services and links
This website is a one-stop information centre that points to original publishers — when you follow a link to an external article, video or social post, you leave our site and that website's own privacy policy applies. Embedded social videos are hosted by their original platforms (such as YouTube, TikTok or Facebook), which may set their own cookies when they load. We also use an email delivery service to send inquiry notifications and the newsletter; those messages go only to the site owner or the address you subscribed with. When other people share or tag links to our pages on social platforms, what happens on those platforms is covered by the platforms' own privacy policies — our policy applies to what you do on this website.
Your choices
- You can ask us to correct or delete any personal information you have given us, or to remove a listing or vacancy you posted.
- You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in the newsletter footer or by emailing us.
- You can delete your member content by removing it where the feature offers a remove button, or by asking us.
- Simply email contactus@autopulse.com.my or use the Contact & inquiries page — no formal request or form is needed.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
